Glenbrittle Fairy Pools_Pano.jpg
The Fairy Pools sit at foot of the Black Cuillins near Glenbrittle, beautifully crystal clear blue pools on the River Brittle. The pools are created by a series of cascading waterfalls, some ankle-deep and others deep enough to dive into, located along the crevase toward the bottom left of the photo. If you look carefully, there is a walking path along the left side of the pools. This panorama was meant to show what we saw when we arrived at the car park, at the top of the trail. It took close to a half-hour to walk to the beginning of the pools, the path continues several miles, winding to the left, out of view, where you can walk through the nearby glen. This panoramic shot is comprised of seven, individual, vertically framed 36 megapixel photos. When enlarged at 300 pixels per inch, this photo would be close to eight-feet wide. Prints are available by request only, as they are a custom size not supported by most print vendors.
